Putting the guidelines into practice
Be constructive
Describe the concern, explain its effect, and whenever possible propose a practical improvement. Disagreement is welcome; hostility is not.
Protect minors
Never publish a minor’s private contact details, address, medical information, schedule, private messages, or other sensitive information. Avoid unnecessary identifying details.
Discuss conduct responsibly
Focus on verifiable events and organizational processes. Do not use the platform to organize harassment, shame individuals, spread rumors, or make unsupported accusations.
Respect privacy
Do not publish private phone numbers, email addresses, home addresses, account credentials, confidential records, or other personal data without authorization.
Open and honest feedback
Better Stark Jr Fair is intended to provide a place where people can share thoughtful, honest feedback about the Junior Fair experience without feeling pressured to publicly identify themselves. Community members may choose how much personal information they share, and public posts do not require a person’s real name to be displayed.
We believe people should be able to raise concerns, describe experiences, ask difficult questions, and suggest improvements without fear that speaking up will lead to repercussions or retaliation, particularly when members of the Junior Fair community have reported experiencing negative consequences after raising concerns in the past. At the same time, anonymity is not a license to attack others. Posts must remain respectful, factual, constructive, and consistent with our community standards, including protecting youth privacy and avoiding harassment, threats, doxxing, or unsupported accusations.
Use the report tool
If content appears to violate these standards, report it to moderators rather than escalating the conflict in the discussion.
Moderation
Posts and comments may be held for review. Moderators can reject or remove content that conflicts with these guidelines, even when the underlying topic is appropriate for discussion.
